wawa integrates with TMRW automated cryostorage (TMRW Connect) for an up-to-date view of stored samples. The integration is switched on for your account by wawa.

How it works

• wawa → TMRW: freezing, importing, thawing or exporting egg and embryo devices in a TMRW tank creates the matching TMRW ticket. Sperm samples are not sent.
• TMRW → wawa: TMRW sends status changes to wawa as they happen: frozen and thawed status, and locations. A freeze record in a TMRW tank shows the TMRW external ID and status.
• Tanks and canisters reported by TMRW are created in Cryostorage → Tanks automatically. Moving a sample from another tank into a TMRW tank updates wawa once TMRW completes the move.

What we need from you

Input	What to give us
TMRW Connect URL	Your TMRW Connect API address, including its port, as provided by TMRW
Username and password	The TMRW user wawa acts as. On first sign-in wawa records the TMRW site, clinic and user it belongs to; use a dedicated user for wawa.
Use Device ID for Embryo Number	Optional. On if your team numbers embryos by TMRW device ID and will manage those IDs manually.
Tank types	For each TMRW tank: CryoRobot, Vault, BioRepo, or a non-TMRW ivfOS tank. Tanks created from TMRW locations are typed automatically.

wawa also arranges with TMRW for TMRW's status updates to be sent to wawa; there is nothing for you to configure for that. An initial bulk import of existing TMRW samples can be done by wawa from a TMRW export.

Setting it up

1. Contact us to switch the integration on.
2. Go to Settings → Integrations → TMRW and enter the URL, username and password. The page tests the connection and shows the TMRW user, site and clinic it signed in as.
3. For existing tanks, set Integration type to TMRW and choose the tank type under Cryostorage → Tanks.
